He does not know that he looks like a Christmas tree, and he might be a little offended if you tell him so.
VERY IMPORTANT: He identifies primarily as a singer. His voice sounds like a theremin, high, warbly, and otherworldly.
Should you hear his special tune, he might be trying to impress you, befriend you, or letting you know that he is glad.
